Sonny,

Bigger trade is better for both sides including imports and exports.

<<As long as you were just now in Korea, did you hear that they have been asked to only buy Korean stuff? What's your thought on that? Will they be heading for a 1929 or are they smart?>> Of course that is not going to solve any of their problems. That is different than the trade war during the 1929 where goverments raised extreme high tariff. During the 80s, when we encourage people to buy Amerian products that didn't help that much. What it helps is that US's open market policy. For example,The big three started to kick their own butt and increased the auto quality and design, implemeting Just in time system, higher productivity by using robots, etc, etc...Now US has more than 50% of Taiwan's auto Market.
I am totaly agreed with you US is the most important market, but the growth of other markets also will effect our economy too.
