All, Sorry to butt in on the discussion, but......... When I do a general posting to a group, I do it by hitting the RESPOND button when I get to the latest post in the group. I then start my posting off 'ALL,'. This has caused me some problems in the past days, because an individual who had a posting where I hit 'respond' has taken umbrage, claiming that this 'conduct' of mine is directing the message to him and in effect spamming him. Rationality of that position aside, it does lead me to make a suggestion. How about having a 'Respond to ALL' option that adds a posting and places 'ALL' or some other appropriate id (like the name of the thread) in the 'TO' field. This way you can 'respond' to the poster or 'respond to all' and no one would get confused... Ben A.
