okay patrick

i understand that particular aspect

But think of this

I am thinking of how they strip and jack the prem around the buy and sell programs...so if you are using a system ...lets say kevins because his works very well. I have said it works very well and I HAVE NEVER SAID IT DIDNT and I have always been one to praise Kevin on his system and tell people how good it works on and off this thread

I am thinking in terms of using the knowledge of programs not to get whipsawed in your position...IF that is possible

you know basically how kevins system works and you have sent me other peoples systems using formulas..

so lets say that with a sell program the position should be generated
as the particular point is violated.

they will jack the premium up...you buy

but then the market bounces back up they strip the jacked up part of the prem as well as normal prem.

I guess my thinking is that if you can tell if it is due to a sell program..which will sometimes make a temp effect...then you shouldnt buy if the neutral zone is tight because you could easily bounce back up and your premium is stripped.

Do you follow me?????

Not saying that you would be able to determine all this...this is the basis of my questions. It is VERY easy to get whipsawed in a tight neutral zone and you can easily lose $1500 bucks because of the whipsaw...(not knowing of course if that whipsaws back and forth were due to programs)

Obviously it is easy just to follow a mechanical system no matter what it says...but I cant afford those kinds of losses...so trying to minimize that potential

Am I making myself clear on what I am trying to say....
