if we choose to put faith in elmat's take on bitcoins and china, and refuse to stare facts directly on, we would be at fault for being historically irrelevant, socially unaware, mathematically faulty, and logically wrong

fact is that china mines a lot of bit coins by taking advantage of cheap hydro power, inexpensive computers, thousands of brains allocatable and allocated to any given imperative, and off load such coins on a hungry world

when the bit coins are mined out, or the fever retreats, china resource allocation would rebalance, for the hydro power and computers would still be useful even if fully paid back

when brazil mines out the iron or iron go cheaper, or afghanistan starts competing against brazil, i wonder what would happen to brazil ?
