No Ignacio, it is really quite clear that Race during a critical
time failed to effectively market a unique and in demand product,
thereby running the stock into the ground. With the reseller and
support alliances new hopes are created, but there will come new
situations where good calls are needed, especially during strong
company growth, situations Race has never been in before. There
is no room for second chances. I say Race, but it falls back on
the CEO. Barkers strength is engineering it seems to me, so thats
what he should do. As CEO we need a person who knows how to sell
agressively, and who has tried to grow a big company before. But,
lets not worry about this until Race gets profitable.

To systematically pick a point of view and ignore everything counter is easy but meaningless.

Ignacio, you are decscribing some of the more vocal RACE apologists to a tee. RACE is primarily a legacy modem integrator with a proprietary bent which is in keeping with their close relationship to legacy PBX systems. Getting a pilot installation after six months of evaluation is hardly encouraging. There's something rotten with this picture and everybody knows it. The hope, for now, is that a series of piddly-ass sales will move the stock higher so that the principals and current shareholders alike can leave somebody else holding the bag.
