The Barracuda™ The last sentence reads..... We're going to need another Renaissance. That is the problem, we are going to go through a fourth turning. This article read like the student was facing a Stalin Political Officer who was pointing out the way the student was thinking wrong and that he needed to change his "thoughts" before something bad happens. In other words, the Student was being marked for assassination, the assassination of his collegiate career. Oh don't worry if we continue on this path it won't be long before it will be real assassinations begin. These people need to be stopped before they get real power. They came close with obummer and that is why they are reacting to Trump the way they are. They are the ones who are dangerous. Unfortunately they are Authoritarians hiding behind the Constitution when is advantages and wielding Regulatory power when it isn't. Unfortunately, you don't compromise, cut deals, or appease Authoritarians. You have to defeat them and remove them from any power. They are a cancer that is growing and like all cancer it will kill the host unless you cut it out. Fortunately people are waking up but not fast enough. G-n-G

There you have it, the predominant culture of the contemporary university: don't think, don't argue, don't try to understand, don't seek to defend or justify yourself. Just conform. Wow - just think of the '60's anti-establishment, don't conform. So now the conservatives are the free thinkers and the hippies? LOL! So the right has become the left (well maybe the middle) and the left has become the commies. Great. :-)
