be careful about concluding that a low vix means buy signal. after all, we went into friday with a low vix. i think bill is implying in his recent posts that something even deeper & darker than vix could be going awry...

Jim, I know you have to go in and enter values for each of the DOW stocks... that can't be easy to do... must take you an hour a night! It may well prove worth it... please, keep us posted on how it works out. And don't hesitate to give us your forecast expectations based on this new tool... it is a learning process and I don't believe any of us would base an investment decision solely on one of our indicators... no matter how good they may appear!
