Hi PV,

Re: My gut is still telling me that the Mutual funds have bought and are buying at these prices.

I haven't seen any trading volume that gives me this impression,
seems that if large bulk purchases were going on then the price
would be rising on rising volumes. I think the funds will wait a
while and stay in cash until things smooth out and more
tech companies announce earnings and give their "guidance"
during the conference calls.

Besides, Dave Dhillon is getting horny,
or rather growing horns and he leads the fund strategy movement by
4-6 weeks. (sorry DD I couldn't resist temptation <VBG>). Look
for large block purchases to announce fund "buy in", this will
be the pre-cursor for a sustained upward price move, IMHO..

Just my opinion,
BB

Threader,Did you see the Louis Rukeyser Week Report on Friday? If not you should try and see it on Sunday. He had Abby Cohen on. She was talking about buy the tech stocks as an excellent buy. Prior to her coming on one of the analyst mentioned that AMAT was a good buy. Abby said she was looking at a conservative high of 8700 this year on the DOW.
