I'm going to have to think about it more, but I agree with you. It's like the leaders of Venezuela and Cuba. They believe that if you make everyone equal, then they will have utopia. The problem is that when they implemented their utopia, it ended up making everyone poor. The Cubans of today have a saying, "Long live Socialism! We are all equal in our poverty." That's the outcome that always happens with Socialism. If the Democrats get their way, we in the US will experience that outcome. They don't understand that equality should never be the goal. Rather, equality of opportunity should be the goal. Then those who work harder, are more clever, or have other talents can rise to the top with break throughs that the "average" among us would not have achieved. All of us are better and all of us benefit when we have a system that allows for the Einsteins, Musks, Gates', Jobs', and Hawkings of the world to arise and excel way beyond the "average" person. If it was up to the liberals, then everyone would be equal and average and no outliers would arise, because that would create jealousy and inequality and we can't have that in their world. We surely don't want anyone triggered or offended, so we make it impossible through changing the language that people are allowed to use, eliminating all signs of differences including muting Christian displays during Christian Holidays, while allowing other religions like Islam to be on full display. We erase our history by tearing down monuments and pretending white people are the root of all evil and males are equally culpable for all that is wrong in society. We idealize and worship the female, transgender, person of color, as if only someone who is a perfect victim is worthy of living in our new utopia. The liberals will tear some groups down to raise up their preferred victim groups, just like Hitler did. I could go one, but there is so much wrong with the liberal ideology that it would take a book to enumerate it all. The problem is that the GOP has just as many issues, some of them are similar. What we need is a third party filled with moderates who use common sense and who live in a world of reality and use practical solutions to difficult problems. I doubt that will happen during my lifetime.
