Ed: Regarding BNGO spending some cash to "defend their business and bring balance to the argument", probably the most effective thing they can do is one-on-one lobbying of individual legislators. Mr. Mims and the Harrison's should have excellent connections through their years in business in SC. I think this is one area where BNGO's recent acquisitions will pay huge dividends.

The SC video poker situation is being forced to a head by the upcoming gubernatorial election, the legislative session, and pot-stirring by The State. My hope is that whatever comes out of this legislative session will put the issue to rest for the forseeable future. I see this whole controversy boiling down to the following 2 key elements:

- The industry needs a stable regulatory/political environment in which to make business decisions.

- The politicians need money (read that as taxes - note that in one of today's State articles that 88% of the legislators were in favor of increased taxes on video poker).

If a deal can be struck which satisfies these two issues (and I think this is entirely possible), then things will simmer down and BNGO will flourish.
