Thanks for the APAT update, Jim. I've been comparing with some of the tech stocks I hold, (APM, AMAT, DPMI, LTXX, VECO, TER, VLSI, LSI, etc) and it appears I would have been better off in APAT. Can't say these are normal times, however... the situation in SE Asian doesn't look to be resolved in the near term... Am hoping that the reaction here is more reasoned than the Friday panic selling. On the good news golf front, today I had my first eagle in a long time. An easy par 5 hole, 475 yards, with a 5-wood to the green in 2, and sunk a 12-footer. A couple of later double-bogies put something of a damper on the festivities, however. :-) My neighbor is satisfied with Ameritrade also.. he put in an order, changed his mind and canceled, then re-entered. Got the trade, and no hassle.. So his experience thus far tracks with yours. I have a list of bargain stocks to pick up, but am going to hold back on anything more for at least a couple of months. Looks like we are entering the modern day equivalent of the great (D-word)... Do you suppose we should keep some ca$h warm?...there could be some bargains coming..
