Let's back up a little. Do republicans support free speech? As you know Bannon was fired or forced to resign from his website. But wait, how is it possible he was forced to resign from a website he created? Because that was a myth. Bannon's website was funded by a billionaire. From the Washington Post: "Rebekah Mercer, the billionaire backer of Bannon and Trump, chooses sides" As soon as Bannon pissed off the billionaire he was fired so where is their free speech? Tow the party line and pander to donors or you're fired. There is no free speech in that party, only mindless drivel about liberals. When I was in college we had to sit and listen to a republican congressman rant and rave about a Democrat president without once mentioning his name and without once saying what he disagreed with. I left thinking "what a small and pathetic little man." I've looked for republican who are not this way and can't find even one. I'm reminded of North Korea and now they indoctrinate their people to hate the US. The gop does the same thing with liberals. You'd think they'd be blood brothers. They talk the same - blind loyalty to the party regardless of how many times it lies AND endless hate of the other side. When we disagree, we state our objections as clearly as possible. They can only hate because that's who they've always been. Universities don't have to give the KKK or white supremacists a platform just as we didn't give communists or Nazis a platform.
