Sorry if this was already posted.
RACE actually was mentioned in Investors Business Daily about 1 week ago. Unfortunately, the mention RACE received was being listed under IBD's listing of worst performing NASDAQ stocks of 1997.
:(

RACE has experienced a 90% decline and it's not because people are too stupid to evaluate their products. Let's have a little honesty here instead of writing off critics as people who simply don't get it. Let's forget about RACE being a decade behind the technology curve and focus on the facts: they are gloating about the sale of a pilot installation following a six month begging and hand-holding period to some customer whose connection to RACE are anything but clear. How many pencils will that hard-won sale buy?

Let's also consider the announcement that prices were cut by 40% because component costs dropped; not because there was a demand problem. The fact is, the parts probably cost less than 10 bucks and in the six months following that announcement, they racked up about a dozen sales. Keep in mind, they don't really know, they are guessing about a dozen and they don't want to say whether that was to one customer and one distributor. That is, they are being intentionally vague.

The fact is, you have a company that tinkers with a few modems to come up with yet-another-proprietary solution based on ancient hardware designs and proprietary sphaghetti code. Let's be honest here, RACE is on a collision course with the retaining wall represented by modern technology and what is unfolding now, however weak, is nothing more than a pre-impact ejection strategy.
