I agree hat th House is going to be a problem. Last time the senate passed a comprehensive immigration reform package, Boehner refused to bring it up for a vote. But th pressure will be much more intense this time, and if Ryan tries to stonewall again, the blowback may be too much for him.

Business wants immigration, legal or illegal, because they want cheap labor. Try getting a white person to do a dangerous or disgusting low paying job.

McConnell promises a vote. He gets the vote. They defeat it in the House or Senate. Then what?

The gop didn't get their wall and was forced to fund Chip but most of all McConnell was forced to object to military pay. Lawrence McConnell had a great story on it last night so I Googled it. They have to find a way to push that objection down the throats of every republican in the Senate or any republican in the House who tries to say otherwise.
