What is truly amazing about this whole affair is that the Dims don't recognize the Constitutional implications that arise from the FBI's and DOJ's actions. The Republicans during the Watergate affair stood up for what is right. They rebuked Nixon and did not support his actions which, in retrospect, were not as egregious as we have seen take place during Russia-gate. That they cannot abandon partisanship when the assault on a lawful election results in criminal conspiracies is a sad reflection on the level to which our public life has sunk.
