Don,

I saw HK got as low as 7965 on Yahoo around 10:30 EST and now it is at 8051 as I type - we obviously look at different data ?

I did see the down 7% period earlier, much earlier, about one and half hour ago.

Okay Don I get what you are saying BUT

the sources I am seeing are saying the HSI is around 8051. Where are you seeing it above the open of 8214?

btw, there must be something to what you are saying because the S&P's arent hitting the fan...could those bad boys be candlestick makers?!?!?!?!

Donald:

I believe that Japan's market opens at 7 pm east coast time whereas Hong Kong opens at 9 pm; hence Japan cannot gap down in response to Hong Kong, unless you are saying that in response to Hong Kong's Friday market.
