The dreamers were brought here as kids. They don't know any other culture or how to survive in it. Many don't even know the language.

Sometimes basic human decency Trumps other considerations.

Those 800,000 people should get immediate citizenship!

The mean ass Republicans using them as hostages is morally reprehensible and is beyond the pale.

You have to define "path to citizenship". If they go back, then apply. Or over 10 years...those would be paths.

Does it matter? The gop hasn't passed immigration legislation and has no intention of passing it. It's their new "gay" issue or their new "climate change" issue. They'll spend decades whining (as they have already) while their voters vote for more of them. There's no excuse for them torpedoing every single piece of immigration reform over the past 20 years. Their voters are the problem. They don't care about anything other than hating Democrats.
