Not as many of my Malay friends want to talk politics at the moment. One rather successful "Don" has been seen muttering to himself 'it must be time for a change'. But you know when the bumper stickers came out, I thought I smelled a rat. "considerable resentment at the duplicitous nature of the local governing laws that stack the deck in favor of the Malay people. But in practice there is transgression on all parts." These folks don't care who takes the hit. But feel that the Chinese are better able to withstand the furor, on average, since they tend to stay away from highly leveraged situations.
