Mr. Pink,

Is that the same Joel Greenblat...founder of Gotham Capital?
(and recent author)

Thanks.

Ray

Mr. Pink

thanks for reply. I will check out sirrom capital. It does seem odd to me that a closed end bond fund could trade at 2.5x book. It would seem to me that it should trade around book. What am I missing ?
(I presume book and nav are the same thing for closed end funds)

Any other shorts you would recommend ? I am considering clst around 23 but need to do a little more homework.

I continue to be amazed at the valuations accorded to some of the internet plays but I guess their timing will come soon enough.

again thanks for the thread.

Mr. Pink

I must admit I find following this thread to be enjoyable in addition to profitable.

Your recommendaiton of ACRT as a short has turned out to be fairly profitable so far. After your initial mention, I looked it up and studied and agree with you. It appears to have a heady valuation (although it does seem to take a haircut pretty often these days)

You recommended in your last note sirrom capital as a possible short. I can not seem to find it... can you give me a symbol ? thanks

Also, given earningsr report from clst, (i have not studied it yet) do you still feel they are a good short.

thanks
