I just don't get it. I've read the last 50 or so post pertaining to DATEK. Every imaginable scenario seems to have been posted here. One nightmare after another. Well I have 2 accounts with Datek & trade on average 5-8 times a day. The few problems I've experienced were quickly corrected by what I considered a very professional staff. The execution is excellent & the organized record keeping in my opioion can't be improved upon. I decided on Datek for the execution & confirmation capability. The price was not a priority however at $9.99 I'm quite pleased. My experience with other trading services over the net has been what I considered a joke. One firm (no names mentioned here) left me holding a declining position I couldn't get out of due to a 7 hour melt down with no conveivable back-up. The only way I see to improve my execution from here would be a 800 call in at double or triple the price per trade. No thanks. Please keep me happy DATEK Fred
