Newell Brands Inc. (NWL) - doubled up position w/ Buy @ $22.76/share

Company w/ earnings showing a lot of one time cost from re-structure. Dividend now at 4% so worth holding while they complete this downsize. It will take a few more quarter so looking at a Buy/Write strategy as eventually value is obtained. Uncertain as to where EPS will level out and could be lower but w/ long term debt reduced.

Next Buy at/below $20/share

NWL - another Buy @ $21.75/share up to a 1.2% portfolio position

I think a NWL value opportunity comes once every 5 years and am building my position. This is a 2019 play as management works on their restructure.

Been scanning a lot of Youtube videos on NWL and see they have some very innovative manufacturing facilities (using robots) put in place about a year ago. This reset by the company to downsize product lines to items that can be manufactured efficiently, build to order (based on online orders) and stream line logistics to reduce stale inventory all makes sense for the new retail environment.

Margins will expand, many more inventory turns and selling thru to end users (via online orders) s/d generate higher future growth and PE expansion.

Some of those Youtube videos had a price target of $40/share which is close the GN value of $41.25/share.

EPS is a moving target and and really depends on the quality of the restructure.

NWL will be on sale for next 3-5 months so I am adding shares on every 5% sell off to get to a 2% portfolio position. Dividend is 4.4% so you get paid while you wait.

Next Buy at/below $20.10/share
