CPQ was down sharply and halted for trading at the open. This is off-topic, but a few CPQ cheerleaders took issue to my warning this weekend claiming what I had reported was meaningless. It doesn't surprise me that those who lack any real confidence in their investments go on the offensive in a personal way and this thread is no exception. Some people actually think they are being clever by pointing out negative sentiment on other threads, that happens a great deal, too. Of course, those who offer nothing but endless hype are rarely challenged because, for the most part, threads are populated with longs. So I simply brush off the personal stuff for what it's worth (nothing) and continue on.

Betty,

[an old story about ROD]

We used to the have the pleasure of Rod's company in the DIMD thread where he warned us about the quality problems was having and that DIMD would never turnaround. That was about the time the stock was around $7. Of course at that time he would never admit that he was shorting the stock. But once the stock move to $10-12 range he stopped posting.

I think the fact that he is around the RACE thread is a good sign (he a good indicator that we are near a bottom. My prediction that over the next 3-6 months RACE will recover somewhat to the $6-7 range, and at that time ROD will move on.

So did anyone hear any good news from the conference call/annual meeting?
