A ban on posting any reference to announcements made by the US government will only make the censorship of the Chinese Communist Party here seem heavy-handed.

The US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is to be commended for criticizing Russia's continued fake news campaign in the United States. The US Secretary of State is not a member of the Chinese Communist Party, so he's still free to announce US policy.

This is not specifically news about China and the glories of the Chinese communist party, that's true, but I don't think everything posted here needs to be China-centric.

The Party and their heroic actions currently being taken to prevent the collapse of the value of the Yuan have also been covered. So there's also a nice balance of news from China here as well.

I appreciate as a resident of Hong Kong you're probably subject to reprisals for hosting information which reflects well on the United States or reflects poorly on China, but you can easily resist that pressure when it comes by transferring moderation duties to someone who is not a citizen of China. Perhaps a cranky resident of New Zealand might volunteer,
