PS, if you think those things are so impractical how do you think other nations do it? We've been over this before. Same principle as guns but in reverse. As I have mentioned hereabouts on other topics (including the Iranian nuke treaty), there is a difference between strategy to avoid a problem and strategy once the problem already exists. We no longer have the option of addressing the problem as a country with no guns in circulation and no history of gun use. Canada started medicare small in Saskatchewan before I was in kindergarten. Medicare as they now have it eased in.
