LOL.... Same here!
In college I had a 12" B&W with "rabbit ears". Got 4 channels most of the time anyway. lol
It might have been even smaller.... I got it from my buddy's grandmother if I recall... During my Senior Year it sat on the closet door I had on the kitchen table to watch while doing homework and looking out from the Berkeley hills over the Golden Gate bridge to watch sunsets.... I really splurged with my "high paying summer intern job" on an apartment to myself for my senior year.

My first paycheck as a summer intern went for a Pioneer Super Tuner with a cassette deck to listen to tunes on the long commute from Daly City to Palo Alto to work at HP on Page Mill Rd. Had after market speakers in the front and rear. The car didn't have AC so I'd roll down the windows at the HP parking lot to try and cool off during the summer drive home then the last few miles I'd be in the Fog (that drives the great windsurfing) and have the heater going full blast to not freeze! Plenty of power to enjoy my tunes like the tapes my best friend's sister made for me...

Today my Pioneer tuner in the windsurfing van has a backup camera, plays CDs, DVDs, Flash drives, Bluetooth and SDs plus navigation... and powers an external amp to drive after market speakers and a 15" JL sub.... but I probably enjoyed the first one I bought just as much!

Good memories!
