Yes, because it is such a simple matter to tell people we are taking your guns, bring them to your local police station. If you don't, you could be arrested.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous this idea is? Do you have some alternative of getting a meaningful fraction of 300 million guns off the street? Let's hear it.
