I'm for keeping guns out of the hands of ass holes. That task, however, is beyond my sphere of influence.

My father sat with me on the back porch after I announced my draft number (It was #4). He told me I had to step up and do the right thing. I told him if the right thing was to shoot the ass holes, then I would start with his deer rifle and work my way out of our urban neighborhood in the direction of VietNam. We ultimately agreed it was not the right thing to do (I had to get him pretty drunk though). He shocked the hell out of me by going to the draft board and helping me to argue my case. I got a deferment, he died shortly after that. My attitude has not changed.

Human problem not a bullet problem.

And what if some gun nut decides they want a theirs to emit more bullets? You can't stop them.

People who are going to commit many murders are not worried about the legal details
