Mark,

Looks like INTC is sitting right on a neck line of a head and shoulders pattern. Downside target looks to be in the 50's. Earning announcement this week might just be the catalyst to knock it. I strongly suspect that even if the company does make its numbers, they will warn of continued slowing of demand. There is also the CPQ/AMD deal that was announced in the past week or so which could cause some inflated concern over competition. Bandwidth is not there to support INTC's higher speed PC chips.

I am currently thinking about a straddle on the January options. PUT for a bad earnings announcement and a call for a very short term bounce.

Wayde.

ATL Ultrasound, Inc. (ATLI) does look like a good short candidate.
I appreciate your message in that regard. It's hard to get decent
bearish advice. In my opinion, it looks like it should be shorted
if it breaks 40 1/2. This is based on an analysis of the 100 day
chart. There was a lot of action to the upside at that price.
