You think hotels count guests baggage?

Over at least 2 days, he brought at least 10 suitcases containing 23 guns and ammo

Hotels have little carts to make it easier to carry multiple bags. Say, he transported only two bags a trip. Five trips over two days is easy peasy. Nothing for anyone to notice.

Maybe you think hotels should have cameras in rooms to spy on their guests? Should they inspect every bag brought into a hotel?

perative term here is " armed with his own AR15 "....not a pistol...

A pistol would've done the job just fine. As well as any long gun. An AR15 fires .223 ammo, which is the essentially the same diameter as a .22. It has more punch than a .22 long rifle or even a .22 hornet as it has more powder behind it. An AR15 is LESS powerful than all popular deer and other big game cartridges, which you can also buy either semi-auto or lever action. Take a look at this:

See where the .223 is? It's recommended for things like coyotes. Look at all those more powerful hunting calibers.

See those? More power and longer range than an AR15. The bottom two are semi-auto rifles just like the AR15.

Why does the military use .223 ammo instead of more powerful cartridges they used in the world wars? Because .223 rifles and ammo are lighter weight. More shots per pound that a soldier has to carry.

BTW how did the 30-06 caliber get so popular in the US as a deer cartridge? I think it's because the Army used those cartridges in WWI and WWII. Humans and deer are about the same size and weights.

Rifles[ edit] M1903 Springfield (.30-'06) M1 Garand (.30-'06) M1917 Enfield rifle (.30-'06) M1941 Johnson rifle (.30-'06) M1 and M1A1 carbinehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_War_II_weapons_of_the_United_States

Why are .223 popular now? Because in the 60's the Army gave up power and range for weight.

All the 30-06 deer rifles are civilian variants of WWI and WWII Army rifles. .308's are variants of the M14. And AR15's are semi-auto variants of the M16.
