There dead set against government funding propaganda against gun ownership. They don't trust the CDC in this area.

In another discussion the point was raised to me about organizations being "in their lanes". I think private organizations should mostly be able to move around across "lanes", but for government organizations such "lane control" makes more sense. The CDC studies diseases. That's its lane.
