You don't even present any statistics, and such a claim would be rather extrodinary, requiring and extrodinary degree of support. Its rather silly to think an unarmed person will typically be better off when someone's trying to shoot at them than an armed person would be. there is already more than one for every man, woman and child in the country, And as we've moved that way violent crime, even just specifically violent crime or murder with guns, has gone down.
