Davis, you may have something there. I know there have been a lot of rumors of shorting for some time. Some of the rumors here and elsewhere have been that certain people wanted to short the stock to start a call of options for the management people. I guess to hurt them.

I have never subscribed to this theory because it didnt make sense since the board makeup had changed and the votes appeared to be there to approve any of the candidates brought to them by the search committee. For one or two guys to try to push the price down didnt jive. However, if you recall the Everren Group, or whoever they were, that invested $8 mil in Dec of '95 - they screwed around with the price and made a bunch of money on it.

That is one of the consequences of bringing in venture (Vulture) capital to finance the future. They sometimes steal the present.

The Reg S guys have everything to gain by shorting the stock. Especially if they believe its a $40 stock. Its easy when you are on the small NASDAQ. Why not get some at $1 or $1.50 if they have the option to exercise at anytime within the next five years. WOW! I smell conspiracy.

You right this probably is the time to buy. But that is tough on the stomach for the faint of heart. It does take some moxy. But March 28 is not too far away.

Wasnt all of this made easy when management failed to file the papers for big NAS listed when they qualified? Wasnt that filing and listing important to help to avoid this type of debacle?

Having a look at other stocks in the cancer research area, you probably find out too, that a lot of them are now traded at very low levels (HIV, ONXX, MYGN, IMGN, BIOMF) whith some exceptions like ENMD.

In my opinion the reason for the current low stock prices is due to lacklustre and uncertainty about the companies' success during the winter season. I believe Biotech stocks generally tend to be low in winter and higher in spring and autumn, when there are a lot of conferences, thus opportunities to publish results from research and trials.

Davis...I've been meaning to ask you about the post where you said "Remember my post about Herzog's 'not held' order, or seemingly inexhaustible selling? He's been on the offer", well I'm not quite sure what you mean about a 'not held' order, Could you explain it..I think if more people understood what you mean by this post, maybe it would clear up what's been going on. Hate to ask you to expend more time & energy, but would you please?

Looking forward to some news from Tustin...Good News, Please and a lift to the stock..wouldn't that be nice?
