It is one man's observations...probably too many are tainted from the past.Too much dwelling on the past.I have one friend that is a Muslim,a fine fellow.We get into great debates without leaving with animosity.I have suggested to him many times that it is up to moderate , decent muslims to stand guard over their own, in mosques, and elsewhere against radicalism.They are insiders to this, just as we are in private group conversations where one will make sweeping derogatory comments about native Canadians ...for example, and then the herd instinct takes over and everyone piles on..Try defending Americans, native Canadians or Jews, in the herd...it is fun. I know many "Christians"..LOL.. but know no Jews.I suggested to my Muslim "brother" the other day that he seek out a Jew and bring him for coffee..it probably won't happen.Maybe i will seek out a Native Canadian and bring him for coffee..seventh,are you native or a Jew or an RCMP officer with an odd "hat"??Come for coffee<g> You brought up Americans... i know many, and they are all welcome at my house.
