Chaz, didn't mean to slight NT--they seem like a great outfit. Grab a copy of the 1/26/98 Forbes for a very upbeat article on them: page 84. Cool stuff about a little idea NT calls "The Web Tone". My confusion is that with all the telecom portfolio exposure I have, am I nuts to add them? What do they bring to the party that I don't already have with ANDW, GSTRF, LOR, LU, TLAB, and of course the Mighty Q? Interested to hear your thoughts. Just now I'm torn between adding LOR which is at a juicy price or VSAT (ditto).
Now I know Ramsey is hyperventillating about SEA and the collapse of the whole shebang (and God knows, I ignored him the last time around and got my butt handed to me) but here's how a real pro played it. Sunday night with strong help from a superb Bordeaux which I damned near single-handedly downed, I sold the '48 Merc and entered a stop buy on e-schwab for the Q @ 46. For better or for worse, Surfer Mike no longer has the way coolest wagon on the beach but alot more Q. Hanging ten and minus a few finger nails, but what the hell. No 49ers at Qualcomm Stadium, Cheeseheads rule, and oh pleaase don't let them miss their quarter! Regards, Mike Doyle
