Mindmeld,
I do think Pascal's Wager is sufficient, because the dogmatism is irrelevant to it's point...namely, if the potential benefits of believing are so huge and the costs minimal,
OK, think about it. Why don't atheists accept Pascal's Wager, if the potential benefits of believing in God are so huge and the costs relatively minimal?

Once you answer that question, you'll figure out why conservatives reject environmentalism.

The solution, of course, is not to toss out environmentalism, just like the solution in the case of God is not to kill God. The solution is to find out where you went off the rails and fix it. But you'll find VERY few environmentalists willing to do just that.

I kid you not, there was this one guy who was convinced that global warming was caused by the widening gap between rich and poor. That sort of lunacy is not something that Pascal's Wager accounts for, but it's the lunacy that permeates modern-day environmentalism.
