They do issues. Poor CEO's paying too much (or any) tax. Sad sad churchy schools going without taxpayer goodies. The fact that there might be a woman somewhere having unprotected sex and not being punished for it. (Oh yeah- being forced to carry a child and have it isn't punishment- say the morons who've never pushed something the size of a large squash out of an orifice.) If I recall correctly, the Xtian bible specifically says Eve's deliveries will be painful- as punishment for the whole snake debacle. So punishment- yeah. Probably. It sure feels punishing. I can only imagine how shitty it would be if it wasn't your idea.

Have republicans ever done "issues?"

Depends what you mean by issues. Jack Kemp certainly did issues. George Bush, the elder, did issues (and a bit more at times). I'm sure if I spent a bit of time I could find more.

As for now, their tax plan was "issues." Just not yours or mine.

Remember Bush's:" compassionate conservative."

Anything but----!

<<

Have republicans ever done "issues?" They do slogans like "Repeal and Replace" without a replacement plan (for seven years). They say they're "fiscal conservatives" and then cut taxes and create massive debt. Where are their tax increases to pay for their spending? No one asks since everyone knows they never do issues. No one asked to see their health care plan because they don't do issues.
