Even if I don't make a penny on the way down, I'm going to enjoy watching it self-destruct. Everyone seems to think that MSN gave up, but they've just begun a fairly serious marketing campaign and are adding subscribers. So is AT&T, Earthlink, and at least 5 other national ISPs, all with better service and almost no annoying ads.

What are the numbers? What other 5 national ISP's? If MSN, AT&T or any other ISP had significant increases in membership, it would already be hitting the wires. I haven't seen anything yet. Oh no, MSN is gearing up for a "fairly serious" marketing campaign. Before, they must have been only "kinda serious."

...cable modem services, which are just now being rolled out in mass...

What is your definition of "rolled out in mass?" Mass being 100k, 200k, or millions? Again, where are the numbers for this roll-out and who is doing it. More importantly, who is subscribing for it?

I think its fairly obvious that AOL is dogmeat. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the show. . .

I enjoy when bears post comments like this. It seems that it is only obvious to you Brent - of course, what other view would you have considering you just plain hate the company. Investing with blinders on is a very bad idea. Best to sit back and watch the show as you say...I'm sure you've already lost enough money shorting.
