Peter, FWIW I recently ordered a new PC(Pentium II 233 MHz). I insisted to obtain a WD HDD, 6.4 GB, MR technology, 5400 RPM, the best they have. Should be enough until next year <g>. Anyway, the disk sold at CHF 510.-- (I consider this next to nothing), saw it elsewhere for about CHF 600.-- (exchange rate about 1 US$ = 1.46 CHF). Now I hope this bailed out poor WDC <g>.

Other than that, there isn't really much to say now for WDC I guess. The mess is on, we just have to wait. I'm still long, but so far have not averaged down, still waiting for their nos. for 12797.

Welcome back,
Thomas

<i.Been out of town for awhile...blissful silence from the machinations of
the market. Saw that the WDC was awfully quiet and then came upon your
post. Very encouraging...Any other thoughts?

Peter,

I am currently on the sidelines regarding WDC. I do not know if Paul Johnson is the analyst for WDC for Mont Sec. I have a lot of confidence in his calls. I wish I could find these things out more often.
