'Trickle down' is a Reagan term and concept: Not exactly. It was a pejorative used by opponents of supply side economics. Not a term its proponents used. Another thing about Regan. "Government is the problem" is an out of context quote. He said “In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.” He was talking about government causing a problem, or a problematic situation, not about it being the source of all or most problems.
