A lot of Chinese made stuff is as good as you can get. It's now politically correct to criticise Chinese stuff but it is in everything. If anything we have much to learn from them now.

Once the tech infra structure goes, its not easy... easier to open up a new business in the middle of a desert probably.

Not to say those issues mentioned are not real. They probably are. Competition is good for everyone and that means made in USA and made in UK too. If there are problems the national governments need to intercede and make sure the nation get back on track. I am not saying ...everything..., but most goods and services needed by humanity. It keeps nations healthy and wealthy imho... and that is needed.

Banksters who intercede 'cause "they know best" should be lined up against a wall and shot by the individual nations special forces imho.

That video above tells the whole economic scenario. It's a good analysis.

I believe in putting tax dollars (pounds) to work.... not faffing around trying to fool the public with a department of misinformation. A f**king waste of money like "Anon". Read the comments...most people point out it's a diagram of wave height from the earthquake not the distribution of radioactive contamination. The dog needs to learn how to wag the tail... not the other way about.

btw... the four servers I picked up 2nd hand were made in China... beautifully made Dells, and I am proud to own them. I just have to figure out how to switch em on and stuff -g-

Regarding consumer safety and Chinese products.

Standards are important. Institutional standards and integrity are vital.

Check NIST and the EPA.

They don't work properly when they are supposed to.

I would focus at getting the weak links fixed at home before trying to fix foreign manufacturing problems.

How TF is that crap Chinese stuff getting to be imported anyway?
