One day Trump is bombing Syria and warning Russia to expect missiles. The next day he says it's not immediate. Is that a way to govern? What happened? He took some meds and changed his mind? Same with the steel tariffs. Now just about everyone is exempted except China. This is the most unprofessional President I have ever witnessed. Oh, I forgot the country elected a Reality TV President.

This guy can't go fast enough IMO.

Well, I agree with you that no one should be engaging in victim mentality or claiming victim status so you can get something from the government. I also agree that none of those companies had a gun to their head when they chose to do business in China. However, the bottom line is that if we want to be competitive with China economically, which is also to say, we want our political framework to be dominant globally instead of China's communist/Dictatorship framework and their poor history of human rights, then we need to start competing by demanding reciprocity or unilaterally implementing it with China and our top 10 trading partners. No reason for us to give away the farm. The US isn't perfect and our companies are not perfect either, but we still have a system that has far more freedom and respect for people than China does. So we should stand up for ourselves and our companies.
