To David Nadalin: What do you mean by "true single chip encoder"?

There are other encoder chips in the marketplace that are not a "single
chip" although it may function similarily. For instance, the C-Cube
encoder is advertised as a single chip but their encoder consists of
three chips. Innovacom's chip is "one" chip period. So in reality it
really will be the first single chip.
