Hey Kirk, I did'd realize that gas prices were that high in California. We are about $1.00 per gallon less here in the midwest.

The Price of Crude dictates the consumer price. It becomes a political football even though politicians have no control over it (Price of crude).

For investors.....The Saudi's are doing some market manipulation till the Aramco IPO takes off.

Keep in mind that only 10% of the stock will be issued to the public

Once oil get to the $90.00 to 110.00 per barrel range ...will they then flood the market to lower prices?

You are right in that electric cars are not being taxed for road use.(and they should be).

Now if all the cars in California were electric....who would pay for road repairs?

Its the same with taking homes off the grid.......somehow the power lines to the homes must be maintained. So who pays the maintenance for the lines?

I do think that California is a different setting for politics and business than the rest of the country. But they have prospered by it. Most likely the rest of the country will follow their lead.
