Mike,

I am new to this thread and have read with great interest your prior
postings. I have also read this recent newspaper article. Why such
a negative article when Naxos has just released COC 1.72 oz/ton
gold numbers certified by Ledoux ? Would be interested in hearing
your and J.E.'s thoughts on this article. More particularly, what
is your opinion on Naxos and their partnering with Dr. Johnson. Any
first or second hand knowledge of Dr. Johnson's process, how exactly
it works, or if it will eventually turn out to be a feasible way to
extract the metals from the dirts...not just the Naxos owned properties,
but the other dirt's as well ?

Respectfully,

Jim

Jim,
I read that piece of trash. His cronological presentation of the facts is amazing. He is certainly well read as to the dates and what they mean. I hope Mr. David Baines is well insured because it seems that he is bucking a very well qualified international umpire lab in Ledoux and could find that the time he invested in this article
vancouversun.com, is a very poor investment in his time that could leave himself a lot more poor than he is now. I don't know where liability starts and rag journalism leaves off. Naxos might be justified in mining the wealth right out of Mr. Baines.
But let me add that this puts even more of a burden on Johnson & Lett to perform well for Naxos. They better have done their homework on this one. If they mess up it is going to hurt a lot of Barry Downs friends and Barry Downs himself.A few other investment supporters are going to be set back also. It is not of matter that Barry and friends are right. A poor job here by Naxos and we are all going to look a little worse for the wear. I noticed that he didn't mention that Global has shipped and sold gold and PGMs from these resource types. A true honest reporter would have reported all of the facts, not just the sensational facts that support his "want to believe" distrust of anyone that wishes to be a pioneer with investor funds. His conclusions for the Ledoux work exemplifies that he is a Bozonian ignoramus supporting a pre-concluded theory based on nothing. He didn't even give Bre-X the credit they deserved. Afterall they set up a fraudulent scam and I will bet this Bozonian reported what a great company they were.
It is not the American's fault that so many investment frauds come from Vancouver. Maybe some were not so fraudulent as once thought. Maybe they didn't become frauds until the likes of this guy opened their mouths. If he wants to find the questionable labs, he can look at the labs right there in BC for starters. I will work with him to set them up for exposure as to work quality. I will let him put the gold into DD samples for his local assayers to analyze. Let him send the samples to those labs through his representatives. I have done that and by my standards, his local labs have already failed.
