Jim, I did a little more thinking about the vancouversun.com article. There are parts of it I agree with and the way he presented his information. I think that one of the problems that is to be addressed here is the separation of science from deceptive reporting by junior mining companies, the with holding of negative information from stockholders and possible securities law violations by some of those companies. Where he gets my dander up is when he mixes the two. Science is a growing area of knowledge that will forever expand. To think the thought that the Canadian respected labs have an edge on the rest of the world is rediculous.Where are they when significant chemistry research papers are handed out. When it comes to microcluster chemistry and the evidence of clusters in the rocks, the evidence is researched and reported from universities from Britian, Europe, Russia, China, South Africa, Australia, The US, Mexico and other countries as well. I know that the Canadian Universities do not get into such new sciences as microclusters as surley they would have created controversy in "old fashion standard methods of analysis". But, after all, the new methods are complex. Recent findings that the transition elements, including the precious metals as having micro-organic and micro-elemental forms that defy normal and predictable methods of analysis and process are out there in the world are beyond his imagination. This field of ignorance that seems to prevail among the exchanges in Canada and many of their laboratories is refered to as Bozonian Ignoramus Theory (BIT). Now a good journalist would have gone beyond the expert BITs of his country and asked outside of the small world what the big world knows. He might have gone to Surrey College,Oxford or Cambridge in Britiam. They are working in this Tom Foolery too. He could have gone to any major university, excepting possibly those in Canada. Now if he would like a list of professional chemistry professors in the field of Microclusters at universities throughout the world, I could supply that to him. But that would be more like responsible journalism for some reporters to investigate the facts. So, as I see it, as long as a journalist wants to attack corporate mismanagement, poor reporting practices, fraud and cheating, I am with him. But don't move into the practice of Bozonian Ignoramus Theory or he will inspire my contempt. mike
