Raising taxes on corporations would probably be counterproductive.

On the rich possibly so as well in the longer run, through the negative incentives higher taxes would create, but you could make a better case here. Better case but not a reasonable case that it would be enough. From WWII on we've had top personal income tax rates from 90+% down to 28%. None of those rates has ever brought in enough sustained revenue as a percentage of the economy to cover future entitlement costs.
