You agree free elections resulted in the end of communism in the USSR. You want me to think they voted against communists because we had SDI. That's propaganda. Reagan promised to balance the budget. He failed. He also lied for eight years. His tax cuts and spending resulted in an explosion of debt - the debt nearly tripled. After the USSR fell the gop contrived the myth that Russian voters didn't decide their own destiny but instead the godly figure Reagan did it. It's this myth that we're dealing with here. Republicans are like communists. They repeat the party line without questioning it. In fact, often times I have to correct using the word communist for republican in my speech since they are the same. The "collective" is the only thing that matters. The party line must be repeated.
