Most Important Question: Why didn't AMD estimate how many K6s for Q1?
Anyone know if it came out in the CC? 1.5M K6 in Q4 was low end of expectations.

I listened to the conf. call, and the thing that surprised me was Sanders' comment that 0.25 wafer starts in fab 25 are going to be displacing 0.35 wafer starts. This makes the ramp up of 0.25 riskier. I had thought that the 0.25 line would be in parallel with 0.35, not replacing it.

A couple of other points I recall:
1. 0.25 units shipped from SDC is in the 10's of K, not 100s
2. First "substantial shipments" of 0.25 units from fab 25 will be in March
3. Most 0.25 production will be "chompers" = K6 3D.
4. No unit or yield predictions: they were wrong about predicting 0.35 yields so they won't even try to guess at 0.25 yields.

Brian, although AMD will have fallen well over 10% today, the CEO has given you another gift in terms of a warning and I hope you are balanced enough to accept what he is saying instead of dimissing it as hype and propaganda as you have done in the past. Brian, we are talking about AMD's CEO, this isn't from Al Dunlap or Ted Turner.
