Hi Robert.......another confluence of politics and the stock market

At the end of this week Trump is to decide about the imposition of steel tariffs.
Besides the steel companies it will also effect CLF (iron ore transport) and Vale\ (mining of iron ore)

The last presidential meddling in steel prices was in 1952 when truman tried to nationalize the steel companies. March 1st of 1952...Truman issued Executive Order 10340. to nationalize the steel companies.

Trump is trying to take credit for this meeting, but its a lot like a football player dropping the football and celebrating before he crosses the goal line. There is instant replay in football, but only ridicule in failed politics.
