A re-cap of OZON shareholder's meeting From Yahoo message board: Hello to all OZONers here. Since I am too cheap to lay down money to post on SI, I shall do it here for free. Perhaps someone here (like Cents1) who is also on SI can re-post it there. SI is a great place to lurk though! I first heard about OZON via the story on KSL TV news here in Salt Lake, and I thought "Wow! I hope this company is public." After some DD I bought in at 2 1/8 and have been buying down since. I was planning to visit the company since I live in the same town, but decided to hold off and wait for the stock holders meeting. Just got back from it. I was VERY IMPRESSED! 1) Bill S. knows what he's doing! He knows the science, he knows the market, and he's going after it! 2) The products are real, the science is real, and the test results are real, and no other ozone company knows the intricate details of ozone chemistry like these guys do. There is much more to it than just injecting ozone into a system, there are other factors such as temp, pressure, humidity (if air sterilization system for medical instruments) ph, and surfactant (commonly known as detergent) interactions. NO OTHER COMPANY has put in the 4+ years of research into these systems, and you can bet Cyclopss will keep their knowledge to themselves. 3) Bill knows that the public and the various industries need to be educated on the benefits of ozone technology, and they are actively engaged in such educational efforts. 4) Expect major news exposure at the end of Feb. when the Poultry Association convention happens in Atlanta. There will be two keynote presentations. One is for irradiation (scares the heck out of food processors) and the other is for (one guess), yep, you got it! The ozone solution! And Cyclopss will deliver the presentation! 5) It is Bill's intention to become known world wide as THE ozone solutions company. (They are even working on a small scale home laundry system for Japan, as they are incredibly bio-phobic) As Bill stated (approximate quotation) "We've got this (food industry) horse by the neck, and we won't let it go! And we will ride it towards the illumination of the other enviro-friendly and cost saving products that this company has to offer". One of my questions was regarding the misperception of the GRAS status given by the FDA for the use of ozone in food processing. It is allowed in all aspects of processing, including the DIRECT CONTACT WITH FOOD type of use. But since there are no standards yet for food processing use, it is a "Use at own risk" type of classification. Bill intends to have the standards for ozone use to be defined by Cyclopss! Enough for now, perhaps more tomorrow. Cheers! Tom C.
